Oil, gas and offshore energy
On drilling platforms and in refineries, hydraulics is everywhere. Drilling drives, BOP systems, pipeline clamps, cranes and lifting equipment. Our products meet the strict standards of the offshore industry and are delivered with full documentation and certification.
We supply cylinders with strokes exceeding 10 metres, resistant to salt water, high temperatures and explosive atmospheres. Our manifolds and control systems are built to the specifications of major EPC contractors. The Vydraulics service organisation is fully qualified for the oil and gas industry.
Wind energy and hydrogen
The energy transition demands hydraulic systems that go beyond the traditional oil and gas sector. Wind turbines onshore and offshore use hydraulics for pitch control (blade angle adjustment), yaw systems (nacelle rotation into the wind) and the installation of turbine components with specialist crane and lifting equipment. Our cylinders and units are built for the extreme fatigue loading of wind and wave action.
For hydrogen applications, Vydraulics supplies compressor stations, gas booster systems and test equipment for fuel cells and electrolysers. Our Haskel gas booster systems are used at hydrogen fuelling stations, industrial hydrogen production facilities and defence applications. We also supply hydraulically driven compressors for pressure testing of pipelines and pressure vessels in accordance with applicable standards.
