Custom cylinders
Vydraulics designs and produces customer-specific hydraulic cylinders fully to specification. From design phase to final test. Everything in-house. With bores up to 1,000 mm, stroke lengths up to 12,000 mm and working pressures up to 700 bar.

Custom where needed, standard where possible
Our starting point is clear: standard components where possible, custom where necessary. By combining proven standard components with specifically designed parts, we offer economically sound solutions without compromising on performance or quality.
The design process begins with your application. Based on environment, installation, expected service life and operational parameters, our technical specialists design the optimal cylinder. More than 75% of our cylinders are (partly) newly designed.
Features
Offshore cylinders
Specially designed for extreme conditions: seawater, sand, corrosion. With anti-corrosion coatings such as Ni/Cr, ceramic and Inconel 625 laser coating.
On-board valves
Integrated valves for minimal pipework, leak-free construction and high response rates. Ideal for safety and positioning systems.
Position sensors
Linear position sensors for process automation. Accuracy to 0.005 mm. Non-contact and wear-resistant. Redundant versions available.
End-stroke switches
Maintenance-free switches for detecting predefined positions. More cost-effective than continuous measurement, fault-free.
Through-flow cylinders
Equal-volume cylinders with low dynamic friction. For emergency actuations, steering systems and passive compensation systems.
Rod bushing
Supply via the piston rod for installations with limited space. No external pipework required.
In-house production and cylinder consultancy
Vydraulics has two fully equipped production facilities in the Netherlands (Apeldoorn) and Belgium (Dadizele). The entire production process takes place in-house: from material procurement and machining to welding, assembly and testing.
Our piston rod coating is independently recommended based on your application. Options include chrome, nickel-chrome, ceramic, laser coating and more. For repairs and overhauls, we offer fast turnaround times for both new cylinders and spare parts.
