From offshore to pharmaceutical
Protection tailored to your application
A manifold without the right surface treatment is vulnerable. Corrosion, wear or chemical attack can drastically reduce service life. Choosing the right treatment depends on the material, the medium, the environmental conditions and the desired service life.
Vydraulics advises based on years of experience with manifolds across diverse industries. From standard treatments for industrial applications to specialised coatings for offshore and chemical environments.
Features
Anodising
Electrochemical oxide layer on aluminium manifolds. Increases corrosion resistance and surface hardness. Standard or hard coat.
Nickel plating
Chemical or electrolytic nickel layer for excellent corrosion protection and uniform layer thickness, even in complex internal channels.
Chrome plating
Hard chrome plating for extreme wear resistance. Suitable for sliding surfaces and areas with high contact pressure.
Phosphating
Zinc phosphate or manganese phosphate layer as corrosion protection and adhesion layer for further coating or preservation.
Specialised coatings
Specialised coatings for specific requirements: chemical resistance, high temperatures or a combination of properties.
Passivation
Passivation of stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance. Essential for pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
